The Film: Lady and the Tramp
The Plot: A canine love story that sees a high-society cocker spaniel fall for a loveable mongrel from the wrong side of the tracks.
The Food: Cupid strikes over a plate of spaghetti and meatballs.
What you'll need: A deserted back alley, preferably with some overturned dustbins and minimal lighting. A checked table cloth, candles, one plate, no cutlery.
Ideal for: Dogs, anyone without thumbs, lovers who like dining al fresco in February.
Pulling potential: Good if your partner is a dog. If not you might have to work a bit harder on the marketing. Dining in a back alley is definitely an acquired taste but you might pull it off if you're wooing an old romantic with a poor sense of smell.
