Greg Basire took on tapas, serving a Spanish feast on Come Dine With Me West London

Serves 4 as tapas

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large garlic cloves, peeled and finely sliced
  • 1 fresh long red chilli, deseeded and finely sliced, or ½ tsp dried chilli flakes
  • 12 raw king prawns, thawed if frozen

Method: How to make prawns in garlic and chilli

1. Heat the oil in a small frying pan and gently fry the garlic and chill for a few seconds before adding the prawns. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until the prawns turn completely pink, turning regularly. Tip carefully into a small terracotta dish and serve hot.
