
Carla rounds off the night with a palate cleansing tropical passionfruit sorbet for her Come Dine With Me Plymouth guests
1. Put the orange juice and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved then remove from heat and set aside to cool.
2. Cut the passion fruit in half and scoop out all the pulp with a teaspoon. Stir into the syrup. Pour into a rigid, freezer-proof container and freeze.
3. Remove after an hour and transfer to a food processor. Blend to break up the ice crystals then return to the container. Repeat the process three more times, then leave to freeze until solid. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.
