
Wendy hopes her Come Dine With Me East Yorkshire guests won't forget her when voting for their favourite cook. She does her best to jog their memory with forget-me-not trifle
1. Spread raspberry conserve on either side of each slice of jam roll and place in a deep serving dish or pretty glass bowl. Sprinkle with nuts and pour over the sherry to taste.
2. Scatter the fresh raspberries on top and gently pour over the custard. Leave to chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
3. Whip the cream to soft peaks and spoon carefully over the custard. Decorate with flaked chocolate and serve with extra cream, if desired.
