Former boy band star, Lee Ryan, got his Celebrity Come Dine With Me menu off to a cheesy start with this French favourite

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 4 individual boxes of Camembert cheese
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp white wine
  • Small handful of fresh thyme sprigs
  • Cubes of fresh bread and vegetable stick for dipping

Method; How to make baked Camembert

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/Gas 6. Take the cheeses out of the wrapping and place back in their boxes. Score across the surface of the cheese with the point of a sharp knife. Place on a baking tray.

2. Finely chop the cloves of garlic and stuff into the scored cheese. Top each cheese with a splash of white wine and a sprig of thyme. Bake for about 10 minutes until the cheese is melted in the middle. Do not overcook.

3. Remove the cheese from the oven and serve immediately in the boxes, with cubes of bread and vegetables for dipping.

Please note this recipe is the contestant's own and has not been tested professionally. Like the Come Dine With Me contestants, you could be creating a culinary delight or dining disaster, so switch on your ovens and be bold
