Red, green, orange and yellow peppers combine to make this fabulous sausage dish in the celebrity week of Come Dine With Me.

Ingredients

  • 3 orange bell peppers
  • 3 yellow bell peppers
  • 3 red bell peppers
  • 3 green bell peppers
  • 1 large red onion
  • Dry oregano
  • Course black peppers
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Method: How to make Italian sausages and peppers

1. Brown sausages on all sides set aside. Cut all peppers into wedges and remove seeds and white bits! Cut onion into quarters and split apart.

2. Take sausages and peppers and onions and place in a large roasting dish and pour on enough olive oil to coat everything. Then sprinkle on some oregano, salt and pepper and mix well. Pierce the sausages and place inside a hot oven. Keep checking. When the peppers are soft it should be done.
