Fresh fruit is even nicer when you put it in a blender, so why not make this orange and mango smoothie recipe and enjoy it before and after school?
Serves 4
Ready in 10 minutes
1. Cut the oranges in half and squeeze out the juice. Pour the juice into a large jug (remove the pips).
It will keep chilled in an airtight container for up to 2 days – give it a quick stir before drinking.
2. Slice the flesh away from either side of the mango stone. Score a criss-cross pattern on the flesh, then scoop the mango flesh away from the skin and put into the jug with the orange juice. Cut any remaining mango flesh away from the stone and add to the jug.
3. Slice the banana and add to the jug along with the apple juice. Whizz it all together with an electric stick blender to make a lump-free smoothie. Pour into glasses to serve.
