Kick start your weekend with a scrumptious, vitamin-packed smoothie.

Serves 1
Ready in five minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe papayas
  • 2 chopped bananas
  • juice of 2 limes
  • lime zest
  • 3 tbsp of Greek yogurt
  • 600ml apple juice

Method: How to make papaya and banana smoothie

1. Place the diced flesh of 2 ripe papayas, 2 chopped bananas, grated zest and juice of 2 limes, 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt and 600ml apple juice in a food processor and whizz until smooth.

Tip

Great on its own or alongside pan-charred brioche or hot buttered toast.

2. Transfer to a jug and chill for 30 minutes, then pour into glasses and serve.
