
Perk up your pie with a little vanilla vodka in this cheeky cocktail recipe from Myles Cunliffe at Shaker
1. Add the limoncello, vanilla liqueur, vodka, lemon juice, egg white and cream into a tall glass and top with ice.
Make vanilla vodka by splitting a vanilla pod and dropping it into a bottle of standard vodka a few days before you need it.
2. Using a cocktail shaker or, if you don't have one, a tight-fitting jam jar, shake the mixture thoroughly for 1 - 2 minutes, ensuring the egg white and cream are fully broken down.
3. Using a strainer or sieve pour the mixture into a martini glass. Peel the zest of a lemon to create a spiral. Squeeze once over the glass to release a few drops of oil then place the spiral on the rim of the glass to garnish.
