Barbecue maestro Andy Annat has gone from Yorkshire butcher to Britain's barbecue champion of the year in the space of six years, catering for a range of customers including the Queen.
"A customer came in the shop and bought her sausages and her cuts of meat," Andy explains, "and she said 'all I need now is for you to cook it'. So I said why don’t you let me and she did. I had so much fun that when I got home I said to my wife, 'I'm going to make a living out of this'."
As well as catering for HRH and the good people of Yorkshire, Andy runs a 'barbecue boot camp' teaching people how to grill everything from bangers and burgers to a shoulder of lamb.
