

Gorgeous when spread on fresh bread, this roast garlic recipe from River Cottage Spring makes the perfect starter
1. Preheat the oven to 200˚C/400˚F/Gas Mark 6.
2. Top and tail the garlic and put them on their bases in an oven proof dish.
3. Drizzle with the oil, sprinkle with salt and roast until golden, about 45 minutes.
