8. A fond farewell
8. A fond farewell (Image 8 of 8)
It's Willie's final day to meet his order deadline and, with no wrapping machine, he faces the daunting prospect of wrapping 30,000 bars by hand. Willie's hired 20 people to help but 15 of who he's never met before. "I've no idea if they even know how to fold a piece of paper," he frets.
The helping hands will need to wrap three or four bars a minute if Willie is going to meet his deadline and there's a palpable tension as he turns on the machines. But this is the first time Willie's machines have been run altogether and within minutes there's a problem. The helpers are left with nothing to do as Willie flaps around wildly trying to fix his machine.
At last they're up and running and the bars are firing out thick and fast. Willie's looking happy and his kids come down to see Daddy's dream in action.
And finally, the bars are ready. They're wrapped packed and ready for the off. All the family assemble to wave them off on their next step of the journey. "Bye-bye chocolate!"
