The machinery woes are a far cry from Willie's Venezuelan dream where he spent years perfecting his recipes using traditional methods and natural ingredients like crushed sugar cane.

Willie would trek for hours to get the finest sugar for making desserts, collecting refined sugar cane packed into traditional moulds.
