William's comments have confirmed one of Willie's major fears. The chocolate he is producing in the Devon factory is not nearly smooth enough.
To convince people his chocolate is a must-have ingredient it needs to be refined further. This means more processing and different machinery will be needed. But to buy new machines Willie needs more money and reserves are running dangerously low.
