Money is so tight that there is no room for error. To convince Selfridges that his product is impressive enough to sell in their posh food hall everything has to be perfect from the chocolate to the packaging.
Tensions are so frayed in the Harcourt-Cooze household that even a phone call to the packaging company results in a panic and a fight. At £3000 a run, printing the labels is just one more expense to add to mounting debt.
