Three months ago, Hugh matched six families of farming rookies with one and a half acres of derelict land in the heart of Bristol with the challenge of creating a thriving smallholding.
After weeks of backbreaking work, they've grown food, built a pig sty and are now prepared to push their smallholder experience even further by welcoming chickens onto the plot.
