Hugh's off to the annual Dorchester Agriculture Show to show off his spring lambs in the regional beauty pageant. He thinks his flock is in mint condition but will the judge agree? To Hugh's delight he comes second in round one. However, this talent show is tough on its contestants who return two days later to be judged on their carcasses. And you thought Simon Cowell was cruel.
As well as touting his talent Hugh is also at the show with love on his mind. The Bristol farmers need a mate for their pig, Blossom, and he's on the look out for an eligible match. After much deliberation Hugh plumps for a Gloucester old spot called Roger. "Let's hope Roger lives up to his name," he quips. Oh Hugh.
