Hugh's keen to make us a nation of growers. He heads to Totness, where a grassroots scheme is providing land to the landless. Here he meets Sue, a second-floor flat-dweller whose green fingers have been paired with neighbour, Stephanie's, garden. Sue gets to grow flowers and food and Stephanie gets a quarter share of the crop.
It's such an exciting scheme, Hugh wants to see it in action across the UK. He's launched his own national landshare network, called Landshare. Of course.
If you've got some land or you're a frustrated grower, looking for a piece of earth, go to landshare.channel4.com and find out more.
