Hugh's always rooting around in the hedgerows but the countryside isn't the only place to bag a free meal. Hugh heads to Sheffield where he finds a class of school children tucking into some toothsome, freebie apples.

The doctor-proofing fruit have been delivered by Abundance, a non-profit group who've been clocking and harvesting the city's unclaimed fruit supply.
"I've got psychic tree awareness," says member, Steven, "you walk down a road and it's like, 'oh look, here's a big fruit tree'."

Steven's spent three years mapping the city's fruit trees so people can find free fruit. There's plenty to go around. In two shakes of a tree, Hugh and the team harvest a huge haul of classic Yorkshire apples.
