Out in the garden, Hugh's borlotti beans are coming up lovely.
"As the nights draw in and the ground begins to harden we've got all this lovely food to keep us cosy," muses Hugh as he gathers his crop. And if a few cheeky beans get in his mouth - so be it.
It's a wonder any beans make it in the house but Hugh manages to stave off scoffing enough to create a super speedy snack that's sounds a bit familiar - beans on toast.
