1. Haha, people upset about the lobster game. The claws aren't hurting the lobsters - you could see they were rubber coated and just strong enough to grab the lobster. They didn't look any stronger than one would close their hand to handle one. Then the drop, they're in water so they're not plummeting to their death or anything. And finally, they aren't being handled any worse than they would be in normal handling from catch to cook. The game tank lobsters, having mere chance of being caught by patrons are in much better shape than those in the kitchen that have no chance of eluding the cooks.

2. I was upset by the lobster machine. Very cruel, can't believe this was allowed and that people found it fun to terrify them every day like that.

3. David Leonard is truly a great man...possibly THE greatest failure in the history of the entertainment business. After reading his comments here and blogs on his own website, never mind seeing him and hearing him run down his own business, I wouldn't even buy so much as a cup of tea (Maine or Canadian) from him or one of his establishments.

4. I agree with Margaret and Jules. I was quite shocked at the introduction of the 'grab a lobster' machine Gordon gave to the restaurant. That is a very cruel and probably very distressing thing to do to those poor creatures. I know Gordon isn't exactly a vegetarian's friend, but such a contraption should be unlawful. It's bad enough that the lobsters are there as food, without them being rather heartless entertainment as well.

5. Just watched this episode! OMG! I cannot believe what an awful man David is!! I do not know how Gordon kept his cool (Gordon style) with him - he is SO rude! Gordon is such a legend and genuinely seems to want to help people. I love Gordon's passion for cooking and shocking men like David just rile me no end! He doesn't deserve a successful restaurant - those poor staff, customers and partners! I say Greg should buy them out and tell them to go away!

6. I watched show late 2night. Have had a few drinks but could not believe what I was seeing. My husband used to have his own restaurant and would never have allowed any other investors to put so much imput into the business unless they had the passion to make it succeed. We would very much like two tickets to one of your Hell's Kitchen evenings to judge for ourselves if the food is up to standard or not. Thanks Lorna Anne Ross (wife to Mr William Ross)

9. Wow! What an episode. I normally watch this every week but missed it! I know it is repeated but its on a bit late. I do hope that Gregg gets the chance to keep things going as David and Matt are a waste of time.

10. What a complete disgrace David is, talk about trying to be a 'hero'. Someone who knows about food and the restaurant has been called in to assist and David couldn't accept the facts that HE is the problem! I have just looked on the 'blackpearl' website and to my shock, they have written a huge statement condeming Chef Ramsay and using the media pulava surrounding his personal life - I guess, when you're backed into a corner that the best shot they can take is a 'personal bashing' based on a newspaper report(s) (fact or fiction!!!!) As an aussie living in London, Gordon Ramsay tells it like it is, it's refreshing and he clearly puts himself out there to help those that have asked for it....The Chef can take it, atleast he faces his public and answers his critics by providing awesome food for his customers time and time again... Honestly, Gordon can continue to improve on his food, whereas you David, could never improve your personality!!!

12. David has to go, the other 2 can do it without a doubt, they could have an amazing place. If i was ever in the area i would definitly be honoured to visit and i am in the UK. Do it guys, it WILL work!!

13. I thought the lobster tank, where whooping, screeching New Yorkers were encouraged to fish for the lobsters with the grab claws was unusually cruel to the animals. I'm dissapointed that such a high profile chef could initiate and promote this animal cruelty. At least in the wild they have a chance of escape.If lobsters had vocal chords, they could at least scream, which might have pricked people's consciousness, and leave the poor animals alone. What was most worrying is that everyone was thrilled and delighted with the latest fairground game. I just hope it doesn't catch on.
