Handlebar restaurant in Mount Sinai, Long Island pulls in the punters for drinks but husband and wife team, Billy and Carolyn, are struggling to keep them for dinner.
"The nightmare began when 70 per cent of the money was coming from the bar and almost nothing was coming from the dining room," admits disgruntled boss, Billy. But he can't see where he's going wrong.
The staff think that Billy is grouchy and the restaurant dated, and head chef, Melissa, is less than fired up about food. "I'm not a chef," she tells us frankly. "I don't want to be a chef. I think hiring me wasn't necessarily the best idea." What a go-getter.
But despite the chef's brutal honesty blinkered Billy insists the food at his restaurant is fine and that Melissa is a great cook. Will 'Chef Ramsay' agree?
