Giuseppi's Italian restaurant, 30 miles north of Detroit, is a family business that needs family therapy. Joe Borga and his wife Kathy banked on their 25 years of restaurant experience creating a thriving enterprise they could pass on to their son, Sam, before retiring to Florida.
But their dream quickly turned into a nightmare with too many cooks spoiling the broth. Joe and Kathy think Sam's too lazy to take care of business and Sam's tired of playing sous-chef to his domineering father.
Their kitchen sink quarrels are driving away customers and the financial pressure of an empty restaurant is getting too much for this frantic family. It's time for Gordon to put his counsellor hat on. Mamma mia.
