Gordon is disgusted at how easily the owners let the standards slip and is beginning to think they're beyond hope. "Don't give up on us chef," trembles a desperate waitress.
Having been assured by the whole team that they're ready to commit, Gordon brings in his team overnight to turn the restaurant décor around.
The staff arrive the next morning to the newly titled 'J Willy's Barbecue House' complete with new wallpaper, new carpets and a new lick of paint. "This is going to be the best barbecue house in town," enthuses Gordon.
But the emotional staff are overawed. "There are no words," weeps waitress, Cheri, overwhelmed, "there are no words." 'Nice carpet, thanks' might be a start.
