The home of New Jersey's best meatballs is still open and thriving. As Gordon walks through the dining room, he notices the atmosphere is electric.
Better budgeting and portion control is saving Joe an impressive $5,000 a month and he has finally got a financial cushion to rest his busy behind on.
Gordon tries the signature meatballs - and is blown away by the recipe. "That's better than what we left it with!" he grins.
He is not the only one smiling. Joe explains the dish is so famous, fans around the country are ordering tray after tray of Campania's meatballs.
Before Gordon leaves, there's another surprise in store for Joe. The mayor and his deputy pop by with a plaque championing Campania's cuisine.
Joe says: "The influx of customers has nearly doubled and that's due to Gordon. I almost feel guilty with how good it's been."
Gordon says: "There's only one thing I have to say - those meatballs were fantastic. I've even got a doggy bag - I've never done that before."
