To get Mick up to speed with cooking meals from scratch, Gordon helps him out in the kitchen.
40 guests are in for dinner - the most customers the bistro has ever had. Immediately Mick is desperately out of his depth. Mo and Michelle struggle to keep the customers happy as food is sent back raw and returned to them over-cooked.
Stubborn as ever, Mick will not admit he's wrong - even when he's sending out burnt food.
"That's absolutely perfect," he says over a charcoal-black chicken breast, "we'll see if it comes back. I don't think it will."
At the end of service, despite angry customers and awfully cooked food, Mick thinks he's the restaurant's greatest asset.
"There were no mistakes here," he says "it was all upstairs tonight Gordon. Be honest."
