Mick's pig-headedness is stupefying to Gordon. The cocky cook's ambitions for an upmarket restaurant meant Mick sold his wife's beloved home and moved the family to a tiny flat near the bistro.
"It doesn't matter what my wife says," boasts Mick, "if I've got a dream in my head that is it."
Gordon is staggered that Mick seems to think the key to high class dining is in the wallpaper and not in sourcing or cooking proper food.
It's time for a shakedown - out with the cash and carry meat and in with local food from Devonshire suppliers.
