Gordon watches as Mick fires up the ovens for service of more long-life lamb and day-glo chicken. It's a complete shambles.
Back of house it's a domestic nightmare as Mick loses track of what he's cooking and vents his frustration on Mo. On the restaurant floor, Michelle is left with the thankless task of explaining to customers why their food is so late.
Just when it looks like it couldn't get any worse, Mick throws in the towel and refuses to make any more food.
Gordon is less than impressed.
"Out of respect for what Michelle has gone through tonight, I think Mick should go upstairs and apologise to the customers," he says.
But Mick's as stubborn as a mule.
"I'm not one for words," he grumbles and strops off again.
