Gordon's helped out a fair few failing restaurants on his Kitchen Nightmares travels, but he's never come across anyone quite like Mick Martin, chef-owner of Mick's Bistro in Devon.
Mick, his wife Mo and daughter, Michelle, run a successful café at the Dovecote in Oakhampton, Devon. When Mick decided to expand the business and open a bistro upstairs, he sunk the family into serious financial difficulties with £80,000 of debt. Worst of all, Mick refuses to acknowledge his role in the restaurant's troubles.
Gordon's got his hands full with this stubborn chef but he's determined to get the bistro back on track and Devon's diners in the door.
