Meet Lela

Owning her own restaurant was a dream for Lela, who has put everything she owns into her fine dining eatery in downtown Pomona.

But despite only being open for a matter of months, the restaurant is in serious financial trouble. Lela's put her retirement fund and all her savings into her business and owes more than $120,000 to her sister and creditors.

But her menu is too pricey for its neighbourhood and with the staff shouting at each other in the kitchen, any customers that do come to Lela's are easily put off returning.

Gordon Ramsay is up against the clock to save this nightmare kitchen.
