Back in the classroom there's lessons to be learnt by Jamie's band of volunteer beginners. The dish of the day is stew and Jamie's keen to convey the meaning of speed. "If it takes you more than 5 minutes to get it in the pan, you've been buggering about," he chides.
Everyone is cheffing to impress but Jamie's concerned his pupil's aren't passing their knowledge on. Of nine people in the class only Natasha has passed on all three recipes so far. If the recipes don't get further than his eight pupils then the project has failed. "If I was a dose of the clap," muses Jamie, "my class are supposed to get out there and pass it on like wild fire and they're all living in chastity at the moment."
