Jamie's initial band of beginners have finished their training and it's time to celebrate. He's booked them in for a slap up meal at a nearby restaurant but what he hasn't told them is they're cooking - for 85.
As the friends and families of the would-be chefs gather in the restaurant grounds, Jamie's rabble of beginners begin to panic. The group's oldest gastronome is losing the plot - and his cash. "I've dropped 5p in here and I can't find it," he cries pointing to a big pan. Christmas (and botulism) has come early for one lucky diner.
But eventually the group get it together and serve up 85 delicious dinners in just 12 minutes. Clare gives a tearful speech about how the project has changed her life and Jamie gives his heartfelt thanks for the group's hard work. It's an emotional moment. "I think we've all slightly fallen in love with each other," says Jamie. Erm, we think the others just wanted to learn how to cook.
