There's just time for one last push. Jamie's organised a food festival where his pupils will show off all they've learnt to convince council representatives from around the country the Ministry of Food is worth their cash.
Despite a waterlogged field and a last minute change of venue, the crowds flock to the festival, vowing to pass on Jamie's recipes. It's a powerful argument and the politicians seem to love it. Yorkshire and Humber council agree to open Ministries of Food in three more regions and Rotherham council confirms it will keep its flagship HQ open for at least another three years.
It's the end of the road and Jamie's team of chefs are worn out but happy. Claire's kids are eating veg, Natasha's more confident and cooking with her family and Mick the miner has never looked back.
"Give it a try," says Mick, "stand back and be amazed."
