You can grow strawberries from seed but for a simple start to strawberry growing, Jamie suggests buying strawberry plants from a nursery or garden centre.
Take off any fruits that are already on the strawberry plant before you plant it. This will stop the plant giving all its energy to ripening this fruit and will divert that energy into establishing new roots.
