Sturon (main crop)

This variety is a garden favourite that can be planted as sets in March. Produces big, yellowish bulbs with good storage abilities.

Buffalo F1 (Japanese)

A very reliable choice, producing early, heavy crops of large, crisp onions. Can also be planted in spring for main crop use.

Savel (spring onion)

Boasts a tall, upright stem and delicious flavour. Can be sown quite densely, with the 'thinnings' used as baby salad.
