Back in Popham and on a mission, Heston has brought Liz Carter, the editor of the Good Food Guide, with him.
Heston's dream is to have his re-vamped Little Chef included in the illustrious tome, but the quality slips he has witnessed since his return could end up in a very public embarrassment.
Heston is left to stew, as Liz tastes her way through the menu. But in the end she is all smiles.
"Getting this quality is very hard," she says, "I'd be happy with the ox cheeks in a restaurant that was charging twice the price."
Popham becomes the first Little Chef ever to make it to the Good Food Guide.
"I'm really proud of you guys," Heston tells the staff. "That is unbelievable."
