Six months after he reinvented the roadside diner, Heston is back to see if Little Chef has a future.

A year ago, Heston Blumenthal was given six months and a £350,000 budget to transform Little Chef, one of the UK's most iconic restaurants.
Six months later, Heston is back to see if the model he created at the Popham site, off the A303, has been a commercial success and whether Little Chef boss, Ian Pegler, will roll out Heston's changes across the chain.
"My model encompassed everything from the interior to the service, from the menu to the ingredients, consistency and quality," Heston explains. "The intention was to create a restaurant that would be a blueprint for all Little Chefs in the future and give life to the brand for the next 50 years."
