Want to know how your favourite restaurant can win the F Word gong? Here are the judging criteria
Once the nomination closing date is reached a panel (consisting of Gordon Ramsay, a representative of Channel 4 and a senior member of The F Word's production team) will assess the nominees and create a shortlist of restaurants that will be featured on the television programme. The decision on who goes on this list is final.
These are the criteria that will be used – in addition to looking at how many nominations each restaurant has received – to judge which nominated restaurants will be invited to take part in the show:
1. Serve high quality food
2. Provide great service
3. Are run by people who are passionate about food
4. Are run by people who deliver above and beyond expectation
5. Are run by people who exhibit pride and passion for their craft and profession
6. Have at least 2 chefs
7. Be willing to take part in The F Word programme and are available for filming on specific dates to be notified by us in advance from July to December 2009
8. Be available to take part in an interview over the phone with us at a time of our choosing
9. The chefs taking part in the Programme and owner(s) of the restaurant do not have any criminal convictions and are not (from the date of nomination to the date of broadcast) under any criminal investigation
10. The chefs taking part in the Programme and owner(s) of the restaurant must sign our contributor release form
