After a great start that has the brigade challenging for the top slot, it's time to clean down and get ready for the main course, Gressingham duck with Madeira and cherry sauce
It's getting hot in the kitchen and Gordon decides to turn up the pressure to boot.
"Matt, get another four duck on there and then propose to your girlfriend," he shouts across the kitchen. "Why has he waited so long," Gordon pesters Lois, "is he scared?"
"Oi!" calls a flustered Matt.
Gordon should know better than to wind up a man holding a hot pan.
The results come in, and after a stonking start the team only score 39 out of 50. There are groans all round. It's a disappointing blow for a man who says he's here to win.
