Matt concedes that he owes everything he knows about cooking to his mum. He's hoping that their combined skills will mean happy diners and money in the till.

All the money raised will go to the brigade's nominated charity, Beating Bowel Cancer.

For starters it's glazed salmon with crispy noodles and salad. While Mum shows off her pan skills, Matt's charred salmon is not going to win him any brownie points with Gordon. The first batch goes straight into the bin.

Matt knows the importance of team work and the brigade rally round to get back on track with impressive results. The starters go out and an impressive 45 out of 50 cough up the cash.
