On his continuing mission to get the nation eating healthily, Gordon gets hot under the collar with a group of fast food loving fire fighters.
These lads and ladies need to eat well to make sure they have the strength and stamina to prepare them for work that is physically and mentally demanding. But when Gordon arrives, female fire fighter, Alison O'Donnell, admits that the crew are more keen on curries than carrots.
"I hate vegetables," she says, "they don't smell nice, they're terrible".
With a restrictive budget of just £2 per person, per meal, the fire crew don't like Gordon's chances. Oh ye of little faith. The canny chef has a healthy dish in mind that will please their stomachs and their pockets. He teaches Alison to make healthy burger and chips to keep her brigade fighting fit while fighting fire.
