The Cherry-Oliver brigade had a promising start but sloppiness and lack of attention to detail cost them when it came to the main course. Now they've really got to pull their socks up to get the F Word diners paying for pudding.
Thankfully, Gordon's got them cooking pear tatin, a clever little pudding that looks great and tastes pretty special too.
Despite being Gordon's keenest apprentice, Marcus is struggling with his tatins.
"They've all got theirs in but you,"
teases Gordon.
"It's coming" says Marcus.
"So's Christmas," quips Gordon.
With 50 puddings out, it's time for the final scores and the plucky team have really turned their game around. A massive 47 out of 50 diners agree to pay.
"117 out of 150," says Gordon, totting up the totals, "it's a bloody good effort."
But not enough to take on the Appleton-Blatts.
