Janet takes a break from rearing her veal to try another underappreciated British reared meat - ostrich.
Ostrich meat is totally free-range, low in cholesterol, low in fat and it tastes good too. There are 35 ostrich farms in the UK but no supermarkets sell their meat.
Janet visits Kezie Farm, on the Scottish borders, to see for herself how they are farmed and slaughtered, and why people aren’t eating more of it.
If there's one thing Janet likes, it’s a rant, so she takes to the streets of Berwick on Tweed, to show the sceptical public what they're missing. Her specially designed ostrich burger van is soon inundated with hungry punters and the burgers are flying out of the pan. Joe Public's been converted to ostrich meat - now Janet just needs to convince the supermarkets.
