Next on the menu is herb studded rump of lamb - one of Gordon's favourites.

The brigade are feeling confident after their success with the starters.
"Well done team," says Gordon, but Krishnan feels the cut of Gordon's jib: "You were shit." Harsh.

Early optimism is short lived and as orders come rushing in confusion hits the amateur brigade. "This pan needs to be hotter," moans Gordon, "the pan needs to be really hot or you'll boil the meat. Ravi where are the plates?"

Ravi is proving to be the kitchen klutz. He puts mustard in the carrots, then gets a dollop of it on Gordon. Under pressure he has another moan at Krishnan.

"We're losing it," groans Lisa.
"No-one's thinking ahead," complains Gordon.
