The family look on as Gordon walks them through how to make the wild rabbit risotto. It's all looking pretty straightforward. And since Gordon hasn't broken a sweat, the brigade looks quietly confident.
"Cook with passion and they're going to love it, they're going to pay for it," advises Gordon, "cook without it and they'll be walking out."
It's smiles all round at the end of the demo. And then the orders come in.
"Four risotto, four lamb!" calls Gordon.
"Four each or one four?" asks Ravi.
"One four," says Gordon
"So two each?" asks Krishnan.
"Fuck me," says Gordon
It looks like everyone's fallen at the first hurdle.
