Gordon's soon laughing on the other side of his face when ham-fisted Mel drops £1000 worth of caviar on the floor.
And it appears clumsiness runs in the family. Hélène's making a pig's ear out of piping truffle mayonnaise onto the lobster and caviar with crisp potato starter. Her bag's burst and she's getting mayonnaise everywhere.
Gordon is not impressed.
"I want you to look good but if you carry on like this you're going to look like fucking idiots and I'm going to get pissed off," he complains, "get a grip."
Amazingly, butter-fingers brigade impress the diners. 46 out of 50 pay for their starter.
"See? We are the best!" trills Nic.
