What was the last thing you ate?

The last thing I ate was the chicken, er, what was that we ate earlier tonight? I ate what we had on the show earlier this afternoon. Chicken, mozzarella, er… Parmesan cheese. There was a proper name, it’ll come to me!

What would you most like to have for dinner tonight?

Probably something simple tonight like maybe a burger, a nice burger. There’s a place called Burger Union in Soho where they put beetroot on, it’s quite nice. We definitely fancy a drink though now, that’s a dead on certainty.

What kind of drink would you have?

As long as it’s wet, we’ll drink it.

What would be your perfect picnic location?

Rivington, which is a lovely green area in Bolton.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

Good morning! I’m not that adventurous really, so it would probably be frog’s legs.

How good are you in the kitchen?

Er, yeah, quite good!

Are any of the other brigade members better than you?

I think we’re all er… well obviously Zig and Zag (Tony and Emu) on the starters were struggling, but everyone came through on the mains and I think we all kicked in. I were impressed with Steve Barrowman, and believe me it takes a lot for him to impress me.

What’s Emu’s real name? And why is Emu his nickname?

Omeran. Well, because of his hairstyle, really, and he puts things up his bum – like Emu with Ron's hand.

What’s the worst thing you’ve ever cooked?

I don’t know really, I mean when you come home from the pub you make some proper horrendous stuff but you can never remember… it’s not for human consumption, really.

Ever had a food dream?

No! Never had a food dream! Where’s this going?!

What's your favourite kitchen gadget?

It would have to be the kettle.

Why?

Cups of tea! God’s sakes, we’re from the North!

What makes you sick?

Liver and butter beans. Because it tastes like shit.

Is food better than sex?

No, not in a million years - and whoever says that isn’t getting any sex.

Fat chips or French fries?

Fat chips.

Marmite or marmalade?

Marmalade. Although they both taste like shyte.

What's in your fridge right now?

Beer at the minute because I had a barbecue the other week and we all got drunk. Couple of chicken breasts.

What's your guiltiest snack?

Spam and cheese on toast. Awwww it’s delicious!
