Fresh from the F Word kitchen, Emma Bunton and Jade Jones spill the beans on their favourite foods and getting up close with Gordon

What was the last thing you ate?

Emma: Dover sole.

What would you most like to have for dinner tonight?

Jade: Yeah what would you like because you're cooking! Sausage and mash?
Emma: I'd like to take that Dover sole home, and a bit of the crumble.
Jade: I'd like a nice curry.

What would be your perfect picnic location?

Jade: Somewhere hot. Like the Napa Valley.
Emma: We've just come back from there. There was loads of beautiful wine. It was an amazing place.
Jade: It's a beautiful place; lots of vinyards and greenery.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

Jade: Probably oysters really because they're quite weird even though they're really nice. My brother in law was just talking about eating tripe and I dunno about that. Actually, jellied eels. I don't like jellied eels.
Emma: I like jellied eels. I know people would find that weird.
Jade: Salty jelly - eurgh.

How good are you in the kitchen?

Emma: Jade's brilliant. I'm getting better.
Jade: You are now, my love.

What's the worst thing you've ever cooked?

Jade: I burned the parsnips at Christmas, that's probably my worst cooking. Or an overdone steak that goes tough.
Emma: That's horrible. Mine would be when I tried to cook salmon for myself and somehow I burned the shit out of it.

Tell us about a food dream you've had.

Jade: I dreamt about food before coming here. I was having nightmares about it.

What's your favourite kitchen gadget?

Jade: I don't have it but I'd like a Mouli (a food mill used for pureeing).
Emma: Mine's a grater because I love grated cheese on everything.

What makes you sick?

Emma: Do you know what makes me a bit sick? Coffee. I don't like coffee.

Is food better than sex?

Both: Yes! (they laugh hysterically)

Fat chips or French fries?

Jade:French fries.
Emma: Oh no! I can't pick. I like them both.

Marmite or marmalade?

Jade: Marmite.
Emma: Marmalade.

What's in your fridge right now?

Jade: Salad, crab sticks.
Emma: Eurgh. Erm. Jellied eels.
Jade: Oh yeah there are jellied eels in there at the moment aren't there? Probably some fruit. It's quite healthy at the moment, really.
Emma:- And some chicken.

Gordon, Hugh or Jamie - shag, shoot or marry?

Emma: Oh my god, that's a hard one. Shoot Hugh… I really fancy Gordon but does that mean shag or marry?
Jade: You'd shag him.
Emma: Shag Gordon. Marry Jamie.

What's your guiltiest snack?

Emma: Crisps. I like crisps.
Jade: Me too.

What's your best hangover cure?

Jade: Another drink.
Emma: For me, it's Coca-Cola.

What's your perfect date location?

Both: Claridges.
