They face the awesome challenge of cooking and serving a three-course meal to a restaurant filled with 50 diners. However, the diners at the restaurant will decide how good they are - in this series, the F Word diners are paying. But they'll only pay if they think the food is good enough.

At The F Word restaurant all meals costs £25. The starter is £7, the main course £12 and the dessert £6. The brigade who gets the best results from the diners will be invited back to cook in the final show.

Gordon had his work cut out for him with these four doctors. They spend their days dealing with the intense pressure of a busy A&E ward in west London. When they have a spare moment, there is nothing they like more than getting creative in the kitchen and cooking for friends. They think the pressures of working in an emergency ward will make them well prepared for being in Gordon’s kitchen.
