Each week a different brigade of enthusiastic and confident amateur cooks try and prove to Gordon that they have what it takes to work in his kitchen and deliver perfect food.
They face the awesome challenge of cooking and serving a three-course meal to a restaurant filled with 50 diners. However, the diners at the restaurant will decide how good they are - in this series, the F Word diners are paying. But they'll only pay if they think the food is good enough.
At The F Word restaurant all meals costs £25. The starter is £7, the main course £12 and the dessert £6. The brigade who gets the best results from the diners will be invited back to cook in the final show.
