There's no point Janet rearing the calves if no-one wants to eat them. The British public are still wary of veal, considering it to be an unethically reared meat.
Rose veal, as reared and sold in England, is humanely reared and tastes delicious. Janet has to convince the carnivorous public that the image of cruel rearing in the UK is not just wrong, it's pure history.
"It's OK to eat veal and it's perfectly humane to rear it," she says.
